Enterprise GIS Group will install a new Geocortex Essentials Instance on eGISGCX server (version 4.5.1) on eGISGCX production server on Monday, July 18, 2016. During the installation, all Latitude Geographics Geocortex Viewers will temporarily be unavailable. More details below.

What: New Geocortex Essentials Instance (version 4.5.1) and HTML5 2.6.1 will be installed on eGISGCX production server. As we have experienced in the past, when a new Instance is installed, the Geocortex Core gets upgraded. The Geocortex Core service is stopped during the installation, and therefore, all viewers will become unavailable (expected downtime if all goes well is approximately 30 minutes). Geocortex Viewers managed by DPW will be migrated to this instance and upgraded (additional downtime will be expected for DPW Viewers).

Latitude Geographics Geocortex Viewers hosted on eGISGCX server: http://egisgcx.isd.lacounty.gov/… which includes the County’s GIS Viewer
