CAMS Data Access:

Raw point/line files for ArcMap/ArcGIS Pro: eGIS_Addressing database within the Repository (EGISDBP1) contains the weekly export of the CAMS Address Point and CAMS Centerline/Streetline file. (Do not publish an ArcGIS server service with this data!)

Raw point/line files for ArcGIS Online : NOT AVAILABLE. CAMS information is embedded into the LA County’s eGIS Basemaps when using ESRI’s ArcGIS Online. Please use this method when on ArcGIS Online! (Use ‘select basemap’ or search the username “lacounty_isd”.)

Data Download (Public Access): For the public specifically, eGIS offers CAMS as download access through the LA County GIS Data Portal.

CAMS Geosearch (aka Locator) Access: (Ability for geocoding)

GIS Server: for use in ArcMap/ArcGIS Pro or an ArcGIS Online web application. Simply set the locator to the following service location: http://geocode.gis.lacounty.gov/geocode/services You can also add this service within ArcCatalog as an ‘ArcGIS Server’ with the same service location. To Quickly test if an address is valid within CAMS, you can use the rest service function for identifying address candidates:  http://geocode.gis.lacounty.gov/geocode/rest/services/CAMS_Locator/GeocodeServer/findAddressCandidates

Folder location: Sometimes it is necessary to have the exact folder location of the stored locators. You can find the Locator folder within the Members Drive: (Members)Y:\Locators Please user ArcCatalog to view configuration.

CAMS Application(s): 

CAMS Online Work Order System (Click to Open) : This is the online work order system for CAMS is for reporting address errors or issues and starting the work process to fix them. This application is an Geocortex Application and requires an separate Login. Please request from CAMS Coordinator.

CAMS Desktop Application: The desktop editing application for CAMS requires administrative privileges on your computer to install. There is an additional log-in required that can be requested; Please send an e-mail to the CAMS Coordinator. Click to download and install Click to download and install (10.3 version)
