The UAS (drone) Mapping Work Group serves as a forum for interested County departments to come together to discuss best practices, standards and procedures relating to UAS operations (both internally and for contractors delivering imagery or other mapping data from a UAS platform).eCFR __ 14 CFR Part 107 — Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems
Areas of interest may include (but are not limited to):
- Definition of common mapping applications across County departments
- Assessment of hardware requirements/standards (particularly location accuracy and sensor systems)
- Assessment of software and standards
- Definition of baseline requirements for deliverables from UAS contractors to the County
