Many of us noticed the lack of ArcGIS Desktop demos at the latest User Conference, and it appears a migration to ArcGIS Pro may be imminent. Per Esri’s Product Life Cyle page, “Mature Support” for 10.5 starts in 2020. Another post on GeoSpatialTraining says that migrating to ArcGIS Pro better be underway by that time. Luckily, Esri has a free online course. We at DCFS recently had an operating system image issue that forced us to use ArcGIS Pro for a while, so we thought we should pass the info along.
