Training Opportunity: Applied Spatial Statistics Using R and ArcGIS 1/25/2020

Hi folks,

The SoCal Chapter of URISA is offering a training (fairly high-end stats heavy) that may be of interest to some. This is a full day on a Saturday, so most likely participation would be an individual choice based on your personal interest/professional development goals. Given the topics on the agenda, I’d suggest the  greatest utility would be for higher-level analysts that have a need and interest for statistics heavy work.

It’s free for members, $40 for non-members (but you can join SoCal URISA for $30, so the choice there is pretty obvious!)

Details are available at: http://socalurisa.org/training-applied-spatial-statistics-using-r-and-arcgis/

The instructor, Dr. Tuffly is very good. While I don’t know him well, I’ve met him several times over the years. Of course, given he’s an alum of Humboldt State University’s Geospatial Program, one of the best in the Nation, you know he’s got to be good!  🙂
