Good Morning CAMS Users,
You are a valuable part of the County of Los Angeles’ Countywide Address Management System (CAMS) community. We recently introduced our CAMS Program Productivity Modernization Project (see introduction video, meeting recording and slide deck.) Basically, this project is intended to:

- Increase the ease, & decrease the time needed for partners to contribute data and collaborate.
- Increase efficiency, effectiveness & adoption of data quality measures.
- Support stakeholders throughout the solution lifecycle. (data creation, visualization, locators/ geocoders)
We plan to engage you and other stakeholders with the following activities over the next three months:

- Discovery Sessions – Targeted meetings to understand your current business, policies and procedures you are required to follow, the pain points that you currently experience with CAMS and what you’d like to see to resolve those pain points for the future modernized CAMS.
- Educational Workshops – These workshops are intended to bridge the gap in training by providing resources and solutions targeted to a collaborative addressing system. The topics include: addressing best practices, the use of the ArcGIS Pro Address Management Solution (for Addressing Authorities) and the final recommendations to modernize the CAMS System. (Please Note: We have postponed the 1st Educational workshop until Aug. 22 due to regional fire activity/warnings with our city partners.)
