I’ll just pass this along for anyone interested. PostGIS is a set of geospatial tools within PostgreSQL. Both are open source and can be accessed by any cloud-based instances of PostgreSQL in AWS, Azure, or Google, but we typically use it for geoprocessing. Hosted by Crunchydata, This virtual event showcases uses of PostGIS with tips and tricks, and it will be held on Thursday, November 17 (right after Los Angeles County’s GIS Day). It’s online and free to attend.
