LARIAC5 image services hosted by ISD

Last year, ISD purchased Esri’s ArcGIS Image Server which should allow us to serve imagery, raster data, and other remotely sensed data more quickly. A huge THANKS to Tom Weisenberger for loading and processing LARIAC5 imagery onto its own dedicated ArcGIS Server. The image services are protected so enter your departmental credentials to access LARIAC5 imagery.

**** IMPORTANT NOTE: Only LARIAC5_WebMercator is cached so please use this service in your web mapping applications. The other services are streamed. ****

We’ve made the fourth imagery band (infrared) as its own service so no one has to configure the bands to display vegetation 🙂

The Image Server is installed on its own dedicated ArcGIS server so it will not impact cached services on https://cache.gis.lacounty.gov/cache/rest/services
