FEMA FLOOD ZONES (in Hazards GDB)
An updated dataset will replace the existing FEMA_Flood_Zones layer located in the Hazards GDB on Friday, February 12, 2021
Although there are no schema changes (data type or field name), the updates will include, for example, a slightly different flood zone designation for parts of Long Beach and the surrounding area to indicate areas of reduced flooding potential due to levees. (Thank you to Dan Hoffman for pointing this out and providing the screenshots!). Based on the user statistics, this dataset is used primarily via the Hazards service. If your application consumes this map service, please validate the layer after it’s been updated.
