Esri UC Map Gallery – Submit your maps for internal review by Friday May 13

Hello all! I hope you are getting excited about the Esri User Conference and the return of the in-person map gallery. As a reminder, maps are due for internal review by next week on Friday May 13 – please save maps to this internal Teams folder if you would like them to be considered.

Not sure what to submit? Take a look at the Digital Submission Template in the teams folder. Maps can be submitted for digital-only or digital and physical map galleries. So if you’ve created a great web map, dashboard, or story map recently and don’t want to go through the trouble of printing, consider a digital gallery submission. It’s easy and we already have a template for it!

Love the idea of having your physical map or poster in that beautiful Sails Pavilion? Please drop a PDF of your map or poster in the Teams folder and we would love to consider it. Feel free to reach out to egis@isd.lacounty.gov or to the User Council Teams channel if you want to discuss map ideas.

LA County Map Gallery Coordination Schedule:

  • Friday, May 13: Maps due to Teams folder
  • Wednesday, May 18-19: Selection Committee reviews maps and notifies owners of selected maps
  • May 20-June 1: Selected map owners have time to make final changes to their submissions
  • Thursday, June 2: Selected map owners must submit their maps online
  • Monday, July 11 at Noon: Maps selected for print display must be set up at the in-person map gallery
