The latest updates to City Boundaries data are now available in the EGISDBP1 repository in the table: eGIS_Boundaries_Political.EGIS.DPW_CITY_BOUNDARIES_NEW_SCHEMA. Please take the opportunity to review the new table and take note of any changes that may affect existing map services.
Process & Schedule
Updated 10/18/22
We will maintain both city boundaries tables (DPW_CITY_BOUNDARIES and DPW_CITY_BOUNDARIES_NEW_SCHEMA) in their current state in the repository through October 6, 2022 November 18, 2022. Before this date, please republish any map services that use city boundaries to reference the NEW_SCHEMA table and test for any issues in your maps and applications. We will implement the schema changes in the main DPW_CITY_BOUNDARIES table on the 18th, after which you can republish again based on that table. On November 17 Dec 1, we will drop the NEW_SCHEMA table and expect all services to be using the updated DPW_CITY_BOUNDARIES.
Important Dates:
- August 31, 2022 – Table DPW_CITY_BOUNDARIES_NEW_SCHEMA available in repository
- November 18, 2022 – Schema changes to be implemented in DPW_CITY_BOUNDARIES table
- December 1, 2022 – Drop DPW_CITY_BOUNDARIES_NEW_SCHEMA table
