eGIS Notices

As mentioned in the previous data committee meeting, 2 new datasets have been added to the eGIS repository:

  1. eGIS_Boundaries_Political.EGIS.LACITY_COUNCIL_DISTRICTS_2021: LA City Council Districts effective 12/20/21
  2. eGIS_Addressing.EGIS.USPS_Address_Table: Official reference file from the US Postal Service.  From the metadata: “The USPS uses this tabular file to convert addresses to mail carrier routes. The County can use this file to identify addresses that may be missing from CAMS, and also to enrich other data with ZIPCode information. This file also contains unit information, which can be used to identify individual sub-units within multi-unit addresses (e.g. apartment buildings, condos, etc) since each multi-unit address has a single address associated.”

Layers will be added to the relevant EGIS map services once the 2022 Midterm Elections have passed.
