Hello GIS Folks,
I know many of you were working all day today to submit by the deadline of Thursday June 1st. The “template” PowerPoint the has fillable information on the left side with room for a thumbnail on the right side. The intention for that information on the left side is for you to conveniently copy and paste into the Esri submission form – that text does not need to be visible in your thumbnail or PDF submission. You can see what thumbnails tend to look like in the Esri Virtual Map Gallery.

- Login
- Welcome – I would like to “Add my submission to a group reservation”
- Personal Information – fill out Organization as County of Los Angeles (Los Angeles, CA)
- Submission Information – Like mentioned above, copy and paste details from power point template here (e.g. Title, Authors, Submissions Type..)
- Location Represented – Describe the geographic location represented (e.g. Los Angeles County)
- Map Book Consideration – If you would like your submission to be considered for inclusion in the annual Esri Map Book, check box. If not, uncheck box.
- Panel Reservation – Group Name = County of Los Angeles (8 Panels), select desired panels.
- Permission Release – Copyright Permission and Release Agreement; Source Credit Line, Copyright Attribution Notice, Trademark Attribution Notice, Data Sources
- Review – Review your reservation & submit!
After you submit your map, you will see a confirmation page that has your confirmation number and a personal link that you can use to edit your submission later – I recommend you save this link from the confirmation page because it may not be emailed to you.
